Plantation 2008 Panama

A 2008 vintage rum from Plantation's Under The Sea collection, distilled in Panama and matured in the tropical climate in ex-bourbon barrels for 12 years, before being transported to France where it underwent a further year of ageing in ex-Ferrand Cognac casks before being bottled in 2021.
Aromas of peaches, red berries, orange peel, nutmeg, white pepper, lemongrass and custard fill the nose, complemented by notes of honeycomb, red apple, hazelnuts, toffee, chocolate and cigar box throughout the palate.
