Code of Conduct

These are the terms of membership in the Strong Waters Rum Society (SWRS). All members have adhere to the following:

1. Validity of membership is in the total discretion of the SWRS.

2. SWRS can evoke, or cancel membership at any time if you fail to follow our rules:

   1. Everyone is Welcome.

   2. There will be no self-promotion.

   3. There will be no negative comments made on the Society’s Social Media or at any meetings or gatherings.

   4. Respect will be shown to everyone.

   5. We welcome active discourse as to Rums, Rum culture and Cocktails. You can state your opinions, disagree with others’ opinions, but not denigrate others’ or their opinions.

   6. You may not OVER-CONSUME rum and alcohol at the meetings or gatherings. If you do you will be notified and if you continue, you will be exited from the Society – we will have a short plank for you to walk!

   7. You must enjoy Rum and have FUN!

3. SWRS is authorized to change, modify, or amend the rules any time without prior consent of the members.
